Volunteer Vacations are Family Friendly!

 

 What better way to deepen family bonding and teach children about the beauties and challenges of other cultures than by volunteering internationally together as a family unit? Globe Aware programs are open to any and all families who want to experience the joy of giving on an international level.

Children can participate in all of the volunteer work projects, to the best of their abilities, alongside their guardians. Undoubtedly, this is an experience that not only tightens the family bond, but is immensely educational

Our family discussed the cultural differences and similarities on our trip home.  One of the things that struck us is that wherever you go in the world, kids are kids and they want to smile, laugh and have fun. We like the projects the most, especially interacting with the children at the orphanage.  It was great that we were also able to do some sightseeing on Saturday and Sunday.  Angkor Wat, the Silk Farm, Tonle Sap, etc Our entire family came back with smiles on our faces and great memories of our Globe Aware experience in Siem Reap.  We will definitely plan another trip in the future and have already recommended Globe Aware to friends and family. Dine was a terrific host who went over and above what we expected him to do. Always professional and friendly, we wondered when he ever had time to sleep!
